Are you ready to shape the future of financial technology for the trades?

>$80B in transaction volume runs through ServiceTitan, the operating system for the trades industry. Contractors use ServiceTitan to deliver critical services like HVAC, plumbing and electrical work to our communities. Our money-in suite spans card payments, Tap to Pay, Pay by Bank, and consumer financing, supported by a network of processor and lender relationships that we continue to build and expand. This is one of the most strategically important and fastest-growing areas of our business.

We're looking for a business leader to own it end-to-end. This means setting the strategy, holding the P&L, driving commercial partnerships, and orchestrating the cross-functional execution that turns product capability into revenue. If you've run a payments or financing business before and want to do it again inside one of the most interesting distribution platforms in the trades, this is the role.

What You'll Do

Business Strategy & P&L

  • Own the multi-year strategy for ServiceTitan's money-in business — which products, which partners, which segments, and how we win

  • Hold full P&L accountability: revenue targets, take rate, margin, and the levers that drive each

  • Define our position in the payments and embedded finance ecosystem — how we negotiate with processors, how we structure lender programs, how we capture more on-platform volume

  • Make the investment case for the fintech roadmap with executive leadership and translate strategy into a clear operating plan

Commercial Partnerships & Negotiation

  • Own relationships with processors, issuing banks, lenders, and other fintech infrastructure partners — from deal structure through ongoing performance management

  • Negotiate commercial agreements end-to-end, with a deep understanding of interchange economics, rev share structures, and long-term contractual flexibility

  • Manage a portfolio of lending partners with an eye toward curating the strongest program for our customers and our economics

  • Identify and develop new partnerships that expand product capability or distribution

GTM & Cross-Functional Execution

  • Drive the commercial activation motion — from fintech attach in the sales process through onboarding, adoption, and retention of payment volume. Drive customer acquisition, transaction volume growth, and adoption of new products in partnership with Sales and GTM teams

  • Orchestrate the functions that need to move together to make this business work: sales, onboarding, customer success, operations, finance, and product

  • Build the operating rhythm that keeps the team aligned and accountable to shared outcomes

Product Strategy

  • Set product direction for the money-in suite — prioritizing the roadmap against business outcomes

  • Make build vs. buy vs. partner decisions with clear commercial and strategic rationale

  • Ensure compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements are integrated into product and partnership decisions

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of deep domain expertise in payments, consumer financing, or both — ideally from running a business or a major business unit at a payments processor, lending company, or embedded finance provider

  • Track record of P&L ownership with real revenue and margin accountability — you've set targets, explained variances, and made the hard resource calls

  • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements with processors, banks, or lenders — you understand the economics and know where the leverage is

  • Operator instincts: you know how to build GTM and activation models, not just product roadmaps

  • Strong cross-functional leadership — you've driven outcomes across sales, ops, and finance without relying on direct authority

  • Ability to operate at the executive level internally and credibly represent ServiceTitan in senior external conversations

  • Experience in a B2B2C business where distribution and activation are the hard problems, not just the technology

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
