Spectrum Reach is the advertising sales division of Charter Communications, delivering scalable, data-driven campaigns across premium linear TV and CTV inventory. We empower brands to reach audiences through strategic monetization, precision targeting, and high-quality multiscreen experiences.
We are seeking a Senior Director of Programmatic Yield to lead the pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy across our CTV and linear TV inventory. Reporting to the Vice President of Yield Strategy, this role is critical in driving total yield through strategic management of SSP and DSP partnerships, as well as agency-direct programmatic business.
The ideal candidate is a senior leader with deep experience in CTV monetization, auction dynamics, and advanced pricing strategies. This person will serve as a cross-functional connector-partnering with leaders across Sales, Product, Account Management, Ad Operations, and the broader Yield organization-to maximize revenue, enhance performance visibility, and inform strategic business decisions through data-backed insights.
Strategic Yield Leadership
  • Own and evolve the end-to-end pricing and packaging strategy for Spectrum Reach's programmatic CTV and linear TV inventory.
  • Drive revenue and efficiency improvements across open exchange, private marketplaces (PMPs), programmatic guaranteed, and preferred deals.
  • Manage and optimize monetization across multiple SSPs and DSPs, including platform configurations, floor pricing logic, and inventory segmentation strategies.
  • Monitor core KPIs (e.g., bid density, fill rate, win rate, revenue per impression) to proactively surface monetization opportunities and flag inefficiencies.
  • Develop and scale yield experiments and tactical interventions to test performance hypotheses and drive incremental revenue growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Ad Operations, Sales, and Product teams to align yield initiatives with broader business goals and sales execution.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Yield and other senior leaders to analyze supply trends, identify inventory imbalances, and uncover revenue growth opportunities.
  • Support client-facing teams by developing scalable pricing strategies and packaged solutions tailored to demand and market trends.
  • Guide performance readouts, reporting enhancements, and knowledge-sharing efforts that strengthen internal visibility into programmatic health.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in programmatic media, yield strategy, or digital ad monetization
  • 8+ years of increasing leadership experience, ideally leading geographically distributed teams.
  • Leadership style that promotes strategic clarity, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Proven expertise in CTV and/or linear TV monetization; deep familiarity with auction dynamics, programmatic infrastructure, and pricing optimization.
  • Demonstrated success managing monetization strategies across SSPs (e.g., Magnite, FreeWheel, Beachfront, Index Exchange, Pubmatic) and DSPs in a multichannel media environment.
  • Strong analytical acumen and ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights for monetization strategies.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator with executive presence and the ability to influence cross-functional decisions.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving media landscape with a high degree of autonomy.

Preferred Attributes
  • Experience at a media company, MVPD, or advanced TV platform.
  • Knowledge of private marketplace deal structuring and programmatic guaranteed trading models.
