StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

StackAdapt's Growth Marketing team is at the heart of how we generate and convert demand, and email is one of our most powerful channels to drive brand growth and revenue. As we scale our go-to-market motion, we're looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Senior Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own and evolve how we engage prospects and customers across every stage of their journey.

In this role, you will architect StackAdapt’s scalable lifecycle infrastructure, unifying paid and owned media workflows to move the right audiences through the funnel at the right time. You will directly boost our Lead-to-MQL conversion rates and accelerate pipeline generation, working at the intersection of strategy, data, and creative execution.

This role reports to the Director of Performance Marketing. You will partner closely with Performance Marketing, Integrated Marketing, EMEA/APAC Marketing, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to ensure lifecycle programs hit pipeline goals, messaging aligns with our core identity, and automation integrates with our CRM and Data Hub.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position.

What you’ll do
  • Design and execute end-to-end global lifecycle marketing programs, including lead nurture, onboarding, re-engagement, and expansion workflows across email and owned channels to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Own the global promotional send calendar, audience segmentation, and frequency management to spike engagement across prospect and customer segments while keeping deliverability spotless.
  • Build and manage marketing automation architecture—including orchestration flows and trigger-based workflows—to continuously increase Lead-to-MQL conversion.
  • Own email channel strategy and performance, deploying rigorous A/B testing frameworks and deliverability optimizations to ensure our messages consistently hit the inbox.
  • Own email and lifecycle program reporting, building dashboards that track channel health so you can translate campaign data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain audience segmentation models that enable personalized, relevant communication at scale across prospect and customer databases.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations, Integrated Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Sales to lock step with pipeline targets and broader campaign calendars.
What you bring
  • Proven expertise in lifecycle marketing, email marketing strategy, and marketing automation—with a track record of building programs that measurably improve funnel conversion.
  • Prior working experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or equivalent) and CRM systems, including building complex workflow logic and database segmentation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to independently evaluate program performance, translate data findings into optimizations, and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Performance Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Marketing Operations, Design, Regional Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and operate with autonomy in a remote-first organization.
  • Experience managing global or multi-region email programs is preferred.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
