Senior Finance Manager, Gross Margin - EMEA
Leeds (Hybrid 3 days in the office)

We're looking for a Senior Manager of Gross Margin to join our high-performing Finance team and take charge of our EMEA Gross Margin performance. What You'll Do:
  • Own and drive Gross Margin accounting across the EMEA region, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimise processes.
  • Be one of the go-to experts on IFRS15 revenue recognition, ensuring compliance and clarity in all revenue streams.
  • Analyse and interpret complex commercial contracts, identifying financial implications and opportunities.
  • Lead the rebates and incentives process within accounting-tracking, validating and optimising for margin impact.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 8 (3 direct reports), fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.
  • Manage the month end process as it relates to Gross Margin, delivering results to a tight timetable, managing and reviewing the Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
  • Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions with data-driven recommendations.
  • Be a partner in cross functional projects, advocating for the needs of the accounting team.
  • Manage any Gross Margin related communication with external auditors, with continuous collaboration with the internal audit team, being the final reviewer of Gross Margin SOX controls.
  • Collaborate with global finance and commercial team.

What You Bring:
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally in a fast-paced, consumer-focused business.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS15 and its application in a commercial environment.
  • Strong background in contract analysis.
  • Experience managing customer rebates and incentive programs.
  • A track record of leading high-performing teams-you know how to inspire, coach, and deliver results.
  • Exceptional communication skills-you can translate complex financials into clear, actionable insights.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
