About Newcode.ai

Newcode.ai is a fast-growing legal tech and agentic AI company transforming how legal work is done. With teams across Oslo, Stockholm, US and beyond, we work at the intersection of law, technology, and intelligence. We move fast, think big, and take pride in doing things the right way.

Note: We believe in being transparent about what it's like to work at Newcode. As a fast-growing startup, we're building and evolving every day. That means not every process, playbook, or framework is already in place, and priorities can shift quickly.

The people who thrive here are comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership, and don't wait for perfect direction. They are resourceful, proactive, and able to "figure it out"—solving problems, creating structure where needed, and helping build the company as they go. If you are good with this then, great! Keep reading to learn more.

The Role

We’re looking for a highly proactive, strategic, and hands-on Senior Growth Marketing Manager who loves building from the ground up. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and scaling Newcode’s marketing function in a fast-paced startup environment. This role will position Newcode against the other competitors to win in the legal market.

You won’t wait for direction or rely on an established playbook. You’ll identify opportunities, develop ideas, make recommendations, and take ownership of execution. You should be equally comfortable thinking strategically and getting into the details—from developing a campaign strategy to writing the copy, launching the campaign, and analyzing the results.

A key part of this role is helping position Newcode clearly and competitively in the legal technology market. You will build a deep understanding of our customers, market and competitors, and turn those insights into compelling messaging and marketing initiatives that help Newcode win. To do this well, you’ll spend time where the market is: the role includes regular travel to industry conferences, client meetings and team onsites.

Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that support Newcode’s growth, pipeline, brand, and commercial objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities and proactively bring forward strategic, creative, and data-driven ideas.
  • Translate business priorities into clear marketing plans with measurable goals and outcomes.
  • Manage campaigns from strategy through execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Continuously evaluate performance and use data and customer insights to improve results.
  • Drive performance across Newcode’s website, email marketing, social media, paid media, and other relevant marketing channels.
Lead & Demand Generation
  • Own and develop Newcode’s demand generation strategy to build and convert qualified leads and support top-of-funnel growth.
  • Design and execute campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
  • Partner closely with Sales and Legal Engineering to align marketing activity with pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Continuously test and optimize messaging, channels, audiences, and campaigns to improve conversion and pipeline performance.
Content & Copywriting
  • Own the development of high-quality, compelling, and on-brand content across key marketing channels.
  • Write and edit copy for the website, blogs, email campaigns, social media, advertisements, sales collateral, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Develop content that educates the market, builds trust, strengthens Newcode’s point of view, and supports demand generation.
  • Translate complex product, AI, and legal technology concepts into clear and compelling messaging for law firm audiences.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to identify and develop high-value content and thought leadership opportunities.
Brand & Positioning
  • Help shape and strengthen Newcode’s market positioning and messaging.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Newcode’s customers, competitors, and the legal technology landscape.
  • Identify opportunities to differentiate Newcode and clearly articulate why customers should choose us.
  • Ensure all marketing materials consistently reflect Newcode’s premium brand positioning, voice, and visual identity.
  • Maintain brand consistency across every customer and prospect touchpoint.
Website & Digital Marketing
  • Own and continuously improve website content, messaging, and landing pages to support brand, conversion, and pipeline goals.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the customer journey and conversion across digital touchpoints.
  • Lead SEO initiatives and optimize website content for search performance.
  • Own or oversee email marketing campaigns, automation, segmentation, and lead nurturing.
  • Use testing, data, and customer insights to continuously improve digital marketing performance.
Events & Conferences
  • Own the marketing strategy and execution for Newcode’s presence at key industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, webinars, and other field marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute pre-event, onsite, and post-event marketing campaigns to drive awareness, generate meetings and leads, and support pipeline creation.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Legal Engineering, and other internal teams to ensure clear objectives, messaging, and follow-up plans are in place for each event.
  • Lead the development of event messaging, promotional materials, content, campaigns, and customer communications.
  • Track event performance and ROI, using insights to improve future event strategy and investment.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Define, monitor, and report on key marketing KPIs tied to awareness, engagement, lead generation, pipeline, and campaign performance.
  • Use data to identify opportunities, evaluate marketing effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to leadership on marketing performance and the impact of key initiatives.
  • Establish a culture of testing, learning, and continuous optimization across the marketing function.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
