The Opportunity

This isn't a keep-the-lights-on HRIS job. Quest Software is looking for a Sr. HRIS Analyst, based in Panama, to help administer, improve, and reimagine the HR technology behind our global workforce, including Dayforce (HCM/payroll), iCIMS (recruiting), Lattice (performance and compensation), and the connected platforms that power our people processes worldwide.

This team is in motion: while we maintain some systems, we're breaking and rebuilding others. We're looking for someone with the technical strength to do the job well and the curiosity to contribute to the HR tech roadmap: someone who sees change as opportunity. If that's you, please apply, even if you don't check every box!

This is a remote position based in Panama.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

System Administration & Data Management Some of this work is steady maintenance but where you make a difference is researching and implementing permanent fixes, not just quick patches, for broken or inefficient configurations.

  • Maintain and administer core HR systems (Dayforce, iCIMS, Lattice, and others), including configuration, security roles, and workflows.
  • Own the accuracy and integrity of HR data through regular audits, validation, and clean-up; good decisions start with good data.
  • Keep configurations, security, workflows, integrations, and day-to-day system health in top shape, and build or update the documentation that keeps everyone aligned.
  • Serve as an escalation point when issues arise, partnering with vendors and IT on root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Projects, Implementations & Transformation This is the part of the job that rewards curiosity and grit. You’ll spot the opportunity for change and help make it happen, alongside a broader HR team doing the same.

  • Lead or support module rollouts, system implementations, enhancements, and vendor or platform changes, from discovery through go-live and hypercare.
  • Coordinate data migration, integration mapping, testing, and cutover as our HR technology roadmap advances.
  • Support the creation of user guides that drive genuine adoption of new tools and ways of working.
  • Configure system changes and coordinate release management, including regression testing and UAT.
  • Help gather requirements so functional specifications are clear from the start.
  • Partner within HRIS and with HR Operations, IT, Finance, and system owners across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ to deliver aligned, scalable solutions.

Data, Reporting & Controls This work turns HR data into something the business can trust and use, with disciplined controls, clean reporting, and the follow-through to fix issues at the source.

  • Protect data integrity through audits, validation, clean-up, and controls across integrated systems.
  • Build or support automated reports and dashboards that meet business needs and let stakeholders self-serve.
  • Support security, compliance, and audit requirements, including SOC and ISO controls.
  • Ensure data readiness for the cycles that matter most, including compensation and performance.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Consider these a strong foundation, not a rigid gate. If you bring the drive and curiosity, we want to hear from you even if you don't have every item.

  • Experience as an HRIS analyst, technical business systems analyst, or in a comparable systems role (3+ years).
  • Hands-on exposure to enterprise HR platforms such as Dayforce, iCIMS, Lattice, or similar; grit and curiosity outweigh any specific system certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with real attention to detail, data accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Some experience with system implementations, integrations, configuration changes, or vendor transitions.
  • A self-motivated approach; you work independently, prioritize well, follow through, and can carry the steady work as readily as the high-change work.
  • Genuine curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous-learning mindset; you see change as opportunity, not disruption.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfort collaborating across time zones with global, distributed teams; clear written and verbal communication in English.
  • Must be located in Panama

Why This Role

This is a rare chance to grow from system caretaker to strategic partner while the roadmap is still being drawn. We won't pretend every day is thrilling, but we can promise your ideas will count and your growth won't stall. If you're driven by curiosity, energized by change, and ready to grow alongside a team doing real transformation, this is your chance!

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
