We believe the best way to show you what our team is like is to treat you like you're already a part of it. We hope you'll consider joining our team of experienced professionals who are building their careers at Kalles Group—and having fun while doing it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst Consultant, you will serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping our client identify opportunities to improve business processes, enhance technology solutions, and deliver meaningful outcomes. You will lead complex initiatives spanning multiple business units and technology domains, translating business objectives into scalable, compliant, and sustainable solutions.

In this role, you will partner closely with product owners, business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and guide initiatives from concept through implementation. You will provide leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, helping teams navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong stakeholder management skills, making you a trusted advisor across both business and technology functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enablement
  • Lead requirements gathering efforts through workshops, interviews, process modeling, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and solution specifications
  • Support business case development, solution evaluations, vendor assessments, and technology selection activities
  • Facilitate roadmap planning and prioritization efforts with product owners and business leaders
  • Analyze complex business processes and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and customer experience
  • Manage and support enterprise applications, including configuration, workflow optimization, reporting, and user access management
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, system models, user guides, and operational procedures
  • Coordinate testing activities, including test planning, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and stakeholder signoff
  • Support software releases, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities across development, testing, and production environments
  • Ensure solutions align with cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and third-party technology providers
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices and standards

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working across Agile, Scrum, Lean, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, lead stakeholder discussions, and build consensus across diverse teams
  • Experience developing business cases, evaluating solution options, and supporting vendor selection processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess business impacts and recommend practical solutions
  • Advanced experience with SQL and data analysis techniques

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
