As a Senior Manager Datacenter Engineering at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI. 

Location: Seattle 

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Develop engineering standards for AI/GPU data centers and liquid cooling.
  • Provide technical oversight for new builds, retrofits, and operational improvements.
  • Perform engineering due diligence for new colocation facilities.
  • Support Site Operations, Deployment, Construction, and Design organizations.
  • Own infrastructure specifications, documentation, and governance.
  • Develop engineering talent and succession planning.
  • Drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

  • Standardized engineering across all sites.
  • Reliable support of rapid expansion.
  • Reduced infrastructure incidents.
  • Scalable engineering organization supporting growth.
  • Review existing assets for compliance to our standards.
What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years mission-critical data center engineering.
  • 5+ years leading engineering teams.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, liquid cooling, UPS, generators, and AI infrastructure.
Compensation Range: 
  • $156,800.00 - $196,000.00

*This is a hybrid role
