About Salesforce

We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

The Automation Services team at Salesforce builds and delivers business process automation and management to the Salesforce platform. Flow is the heart of the modern Salesforce platform, providing the tools and services that let customers both external and internal easily build powerful, agentically-enabled applications using the widest range of no-code and pro-code technologies. Flow is a powerful front-end for Data Cloud and the arm of action for Agentforce. We are building the next generation of marketing automation on the Flow platform.

This Role

We're looking to add an innovative and results-driven product manager to our team to drive the evolution of our marketing automation offering in close cooperation with UX, engineering, customers, and other Salesforce stakeholders. This role focuses on reimagining Salesforce’s marketing automation offering to incorporate essential capabilities from Journey Builder and Engagement Studio while introducing innovative functionalities that leverage the real-time power of Data Cloud, Agentforce, and the Salesforce platform.

You are both a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver. You’re great at connecting the dots across product areas, delivering advanced functionality that’s approachable to non-technical users, and have an instinct for what features have broader platform application. You take pride in seeing the hard-won results of your labors: real customers getting real value from the enhancements and functionality you deliver.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly connect with customers to discover innovative features that delight them and increase our leadership position in marketing orchestration.

  • Inspire and collaborate with teams of architects, engineers, designers, and doc writers to continually improve our user experience with scalable, metadata-driven features.

  • Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, Support, and more to help them understand the vision, roadmap, and best practices. Be the trusted advisor during customer interactions, events, and through social media.

  • Communicate throughout the development process between a variety of internal and customer-facing teams, validating that products satisfy customers' needs and are highly adopted.

  • Build and maintain roadmaps for one or more products, and collaborate with other product managers to deliver a unified vision.

  • Understand and prioritize requirements and implementation approaches that span multiple functions and organizations.

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products. Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in product management, with a track record of success at a Senior Manager or Director level.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor multiple scrum teams using agile/scrum methodologies and to collaborate with cross-functional partners.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to assess features that have broader applicability and build for platform patterns.

  • A passion for applying technology to implement practical and elegant solutions to complex business processes

  • A creative thinker who thrives on solving challenging problems and looking outside the box.

Preferred:

  • Experience with the Salesforce platform, especially Flow Builder.

  • Experience working with and productizing process automation technologies, especially marketing automation technologies
