You are comfortable gathering and organizing large amounts of data into cohesive stories to help provide actionable business insights. 

Your Day

This role is in the Consumer FP&A organization supporting our Yahoo Ad Sales team. 

You will focus mostly on revenue modelling and tracking alongside ad hoc analysis, and deliver against our regular finance operating cadence (weekly pacing, monthly close, quarterly reforecasting, and annual budget season). You will partner with the Ads Biz Ops team to help grow our business, surface new insights, and work on projects to improve, automate, and simplify our processes.  

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Quota setting for Yahoo Ads Sales org (weekly reforecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling)

  • Drive weekly Pipeline review with Sales leadership, focusing on Advertiser detail, deal types, and macro industry trends

  • Identify revenue drivers and potential gaps in sales pipeline and visibility

  • Partner with Sales org on manual adjustments, sales credits, and one-off payments distribution

  • Cross-functional partnership with Monetisation, Data, accounting, and broader FP&A organizations

  • Proactive analysis of industry and competitor trends

  • Build and present multi-year revenue forecasts across global sales regions

  • Provide strategic support alongside data-driven financial storytelling to executive leadership team

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

  • 7+ years of related finance experience, ideally including media industry experience

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail; problem-solving abilities

  • Experience in Excel and reporting

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment that is fast-paced and highly dynamic

  • Strong desire to learn and improve, passion for technology, media, and drive for continuous improvement

    The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
