Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Manager, Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead a globally distributed team responsible for securing and governing identity, authentication, authorization, privileged access, and directory services across the enterprise.

This is not a traditional management-only position. The right person will be a technical leader who is comfortable working alongside the team, solving complex IAM problems, designing solutions, and remaining close to the technology. You will provide leadership and direction while also bringing deep technical expertise across platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Delinea.

This is an opportunity to help evolve and modernize Epiq's IAM environment while bringing together a geographically distributed team and expanding its capabilities across the organization.

 What You’ll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and develop IAM engineers and administrators across the U.S., Poland, and India.
  • Remain hands-on with IAM architecture, solution design, troubleshooting, and implementation.
  • Help modernize and consolidate Active Directory environments and strengthen hybrid identity capabilities.
  • Expand automation and capabilities within the Okta environment.
  • Advance identity governance, access certification, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Drive greater collaboration and cross-training across historically siloed IAM functions.
  • Partner with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, HR, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to deliver secure and scalable identity services.
  • Promote automation, operational excellence, security, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong hands-on IAM experience, particularly with Okta and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical IAM or security professionals.
  • Knowledge of SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, Conditional Access, identity governance, RBAC, and PAM.
  • Experience with privileged access technologies such as Delinea.
  • PowerShell or similar automation experience.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or improving enterprise IAM solutions.
  • Ability to balance technical execution with people leadership.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Nice to Have
  • ManageEngine / ADManager Plus experience.
  • Experience with IAM transformation or Active Directory consolidation.
  • Experience improving access certification and identity governance processes.
  • Experience directly managing geographically distributed teams.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
