Job Overview

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a strategic and collaborative Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement to lead sourcing initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will partner with leaders across IT, Marketing, Facilities, Finance, Legal, and other corporate functions to optimize indirect spend, negotiate favorable supplier agreements, and deliver measurable business value.

Success in this position comes from your ability to influence stakeholders, build strong supplier partnerships, manage complex sourcing initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs, and mitigate risk. This role also provides leadership to one Procurement team member responsible for supporting procurement programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives
  • Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing complex vendor relationships
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with experience evaluating spend and identifying savings opportunities
  • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and sourcing methodologies
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work in a standard office environment.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
