Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Recruiting Product Owner to lead the development and lifecycle of Salesforce's end-to-end recruiting technology ecosystem — from the moment a recruiter creates a job posting through to candidate offer. This is a high-impact, full-stack role where you'll serve as the primary ES (Employee Success, a.k.a HR) Product voice for both recruiter-facing and candidate-facing platforms, defining strategy, building roadmaps, and partnering closely with Recruiting Operations, Engineering, 3rd party vendors, UX Design, Research, and HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to deliver innovative solutions that solve user needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about recruiting and artificial intelligence, user-centered product design, and delivering high-impact products.
Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision:
    • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for all of recruiting
    • Conduct market research and stakeholder discovery to identify and quantify opportunities for AI and Agent innovation.
    • Develop and prioritize product features and improvements based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
    • Stay up to date with technology advancements and industry trends.
    • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand difficulties, and find opportunities for new features and capabilities
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Serve as the primary Tech POC for the full recruiter & candidate journey — job creation & discovery, application, assessment, interviewing & scheduling, offer and more.
    • Work closely with Engineering, Recruiting COE, ES Data Engineering, Legal & Ethics, Research and UX Design teams to drive the product development process from ideation to delivery.
    • Partner with Salesforce's Responsible AI office to ensure all agentic use cases receive appropriate approvals
    • Engage with Change Management, Communications and stakeholder operational teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
    • Manage and monitor recruiting technology vendor relationships including renewals, roadmap alignment, and performance tracking
    • Present product updates, roadmaps, and performance reports to executives and stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Define key performance indicators (critical metrics) and measure product performance.
    • Use data and analytics to drive product decisions and improve user experience.
    • Ensure ethical considerations in AI development and monitor for potential biases in models.
  • Product Lifecycle Management:
    • Own the product roadmap for Salesforce's core recruiting platforms including Workday Recruiting, CRM and more.
    • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to testing & launch, post-launch monitoring, and iteration.
    • Prioritize features, create detailed user stories, and define clear product requirements in partnership with Business Analyst team
    • Coordinate product releases and work with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 5-8+ years of product management experience in HR or Recruiting Tech
    • Proven track record of managing products from conception to launch.
    • Experience working with business operations and leadership, engineers, and designers to deliver product solutions.
    • Familiarity with applicant tracking, candidate relationship management, and recruiting assessment platforms
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or related experience
  • Skills:
    • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly product requirements.
    • Strong cross-functional influencing skills — able to partner with engineering, HR leadership, legal, and operations
    • Business acumen including building business cases and quantifying results with business context
    • Experience working in AI product spaces; comfort defining requirements for agentic and generative AI use cases
    • Comfortable working in ambiguity, managing multiple work-streams simultaneously, and operating in a detail-oriented environment
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
    • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform product decisions.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI / Large Language Models, recommendation systems, etc.
  • Knowledge of ethical AI principles and practices.
