Position Purpose: Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the state-wide marketing & communication program while promoting a favorable public image of the company and each of its product lines

  • Develop, coordinate and promote various new programs and initiatives
  • Assist, review, and provide feedback to subsidiaries on larger campaigns and initiatives
  • Educate and train subsidiaries marketing and communication counterparts on new processes
  • Assist in the design, review and revision of all health-related materials distributed to members while ensuring appropriateness of content, readability and translations
  • Order and track promotional items for all products and all service areas while ensuring budget compliance and reporting financial impact
  • Ensure the completion of monthly outreach calendars by regional outreach staff for all service areas
  • Serve as a contact for community agencies, businesses, fundraisers, community events etc.
  • Research data, construct ideas, lay out artwork, and/or represent employer directly before the public
  • Prepare news releases, fact sheets and compose letters as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of marketing or communications experience. Knowledge of various writing techniques including newsletter, press releases and promotional copy. Prior copywriting experience on the Internet preferred.
Applicants must be in the state of Florida to be considered for this position. This is a remote role that will require occasional travel (up to 20%) for in-person events and meetings.

Pay Range: $56,200.00 - $101,000.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
