Job Description:
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Performance Marketing Experimentation to join our team in Seattle, WA or Boston, MA, reporting to the Associate Director, Performance Marketing.
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy and operating approach for testing new ways to capture demand and acquire customers through performance marketing. This is a senior individual contributor role where you will identify the platforms, partners, and customer opportunities that are most important for Chewy to explore, develop a roadmap for experimentation, and turn promising ideas into measurable programs. The initial focus will include display and retargeting, as well as emerging advertising environments such as agentic commerce, but the scope will extend to other opportunities as the market and customer behavior evolve.
Customers are changing how they discover and choose products, and the advertising industry is changing with them. Many of the opportunities in this space do not yet have established audiences, measurement approaches, operating models, or playbooks. You will need to develop a point of view on where performance marketing is going, decide which platforms and partners are worth pursuing, and design experiments that help Chewy learn quickly without losing financial discipline. You will work across Marketing, Analytics, Product, Engineering, Creative, Merchandising, Finance, and external partners to shape solutions and determine what should be scaled.
What You'll Do:
What You'll Need:
The base salary range for this role is $110,500 - $176,000.00.
We offer different types of insurance and benefits, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. We offer parental leave, family services benefits, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, employee assistance program, and many discounts including 10% off pet insurance and 20% off at Chewy.com.
Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

- Experience working with Creative, Analytics, Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Finance, and external partners to bring ambiguous ideas from concept to execution
- The ability to define test plans, success criteria, financial guardrails, and scale decisions when there is limited precedent or incomplete information
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, including the ability to assess large datasets and translate findings into clear recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and explain complex ideas in clear business terms
- Experience building senior relationships with third-party companies and influencing the design of solutions, products, or partnerships
