Job Summary

As a Staff Platform Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical leader within the Platform Engineering organization. You will own critical systems and influence the architectural direction that enables reliability, scalability, and developer velocity across multiple teams. This is a high-autonomy role where you will receive strategic guidance rather than tactical direction, impacting the entire organization on a multi-cycle planning horizon (quarter to year). Your goal is to elevate the technical bar and align platform investments with long-term business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, mission-critical platform systems that power the engineering ecosystem.

  • Set the long-term technical direction for infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and developer enablement.

  • Define and uphold best practices for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

  • Balance high-level vision with direct execution to deliver measurable improvements to system reliability and productivity.

  • Mentor engineers across teams, providing guidance on platform architecture and technical design.

  • Shape onboarding, internal workshops, and documentation to foster a mindset of reliability and automation.

  • Lead by example in code reviews, design discussions, and the creation of technical proposals (RFCs).

  • Handle complex incidents and lead post-incident reviews that result in systemic improvements.

  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to build trust and drive cross-functional projects.

  • Deliver platform capabilities that allow product teams to build, test, and deploy with confidence and speed.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • Extensive experience leading the design of multi-region infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform) and modern CI/CD frameworks.

  • Ability to operate with high autonomy and manage a planning horizon of 3–12 months.

  • Deep understanding of observability, SLOs, and implementing automated remediation systems.

  • A track record of mentoring senior-level engineers and influencing organization-wide technical standards.

  • Experience modernization initiatives that improve performance while reducing infrastructure costs.

  • Exceptional ability to drive cross-functional alignment and demonstrate thought leadership in developer experience (DevEx).

What We Offer
  • 100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from the location that helps you thrive. All it takes is a laptop and a reliable internet connection.

  • Highly Competitive USD Pay: Earn an excellent, market-leading compensation in USD, that goes beyond typical market offerings.

  • Paid Time Off: We value your well-being. Our paid time off policies ensure you have the chance to unwind and recharge when needed.

  • Work with Autonomy: Enjoy the freedom to manage your time as long as the work gets done. Focus on results, not the clock.

  • Work with Top American Companies: Grow your expertise working on innovative, high-impact projects with Industry-Leading U.S. Companies.

Why You’ll Like Working Here
  • A Culture That Values You: We prioritize well-being and work-life balance, offering engagement activities and fostering dynamic teams to ensure you thrive both personally and professionally.

  • Diverse, Global Network: Connect with over 600 professionals in 25+ countries, expand your network, and collaborate with a multicultural team from Latin America.

  • Team Up with Skilled Professionals: Join forces with senior talent. All of our team members are seasoned experts, ensuring you're working with the best in your field.
