Circle is building Arc, a blockchain purpose-built for stablecoin finance. On top of Arc, we are building a new consumer app designed to make onchain finance dramatically simpler and more useful for everyday users.
As a Principal Product Manager for Arc Consumer, you'll help define what a great consumer experience built on stablecoins and blockchain infrastructure should look like. You'll own the product strategy and roadmap for Arc's consumer experience and work across Design, Engineering, Data, and the broader Circle organization to turn powerful onchain capabilities (like privacy and interoperability) into products that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and delightful.
You'll deeply understand what users need on their first day, first week, and first month and build experiences that turn first-time users into engaged, long-term customers. You'll obsess over the entire customer journey from discovery and onboarding to funding, transacting, exploring onchain applications, and coming back again and again.
As AI agents emerge as economic actors, you'll define how consumers should use agents to achieve their financial goals.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role. You'll be building a new consumer product from an early stage, with the opportunity to shape its product strategy, customer experience, and roadmap.
What you'll work on
  • Define the future of Arc consumer products. Set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a new consumer application built on Arc. Identify the highest-value problems we can solve for consumers and translate them into simple, compelling product experiences.
  • Make onchain finance feel simple. Take capabilities that are powerful but often complex - wallets, stablecoins, swaps, cross-chain transfers, DeFi, payments, and other onchain applications - and turn them into experiences that mainstream consumers can confidently understand and use.
  • Build for a future of agentic finance. AI agents are emerging as economic actors. You'll define how users discover, interact with, and delegate financial tasks to agents to achieve their financial goals.
  • Create products people come back to. Identify the core use cases and product loops that drive engagement, retention, and frequency. Develop experiences that give consumers compelling reasons to hold, move, spend, exchange, and use digital dollars and other digital assets on Arc.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers. Partner closely with User Research, Data Science, Design, and Engineering to understand user motivations, behaviors, and pain points. Spend time directly with customers and use qualitative research, analytics, and experimentation to inform product decisions.
  • Build with exceptional product craft. Partner deeply with Product Design to create experiences that are intuitive, trustworthy, fast, and delightful. Sweat the details across interaction design, information architecture, content, and the moments that build - or lose - customer trust.
  • Drive growth through the product. Identify and build product mechanisms that improve acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. Use experimentation and analytics to understand what works and systematically improve the customer journey. Work with Product Marketing, Communications, Growth, and other partners to bring new experiences to market, ensuring customers understand what we've built, why it matters, and how to use it.
  • Connect to the broader onchain ecosystem. Define how consumers discover and interact with applications, assets, and experiences across Arc and the broader crypto ecosystem. Help create an experience where the value to consumers grows as the Arc ecosystem expands.
  • Lead cross-functional execution. Build strong partnerships across Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations. Create clarity in ambiguous environments, align teams around priorities, and drive products from idea through launch and iteration.

What you'll bring to Circle
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with significant experience building and shipping high-quality consumer products.
  • A demonstrated ability to take consumer products from concept to launch and grow them through rapid iteration.
  • Exceptional product judgment and a strong point of view about what makes a consumer product simple, intuitive, and delightful.
  • Deep understanding of onchain products and culture, including wallets, stablecoins, DeFi, Trading, payments, and cross-chain experiences. You should be an active user of crypto products with strong opinions about what today's experiences get right and what needs to be reinvented.
  • Strong understanding of AI agents and agentic finance, with a point of view on how emerging agent capabilities can create fundamentally new consumer financial experiences.
  • The ability to operate at both levels required of a Principal product leader: setting high-level strategy while getting deeply involved in the details required to ship exceptional products.
  • Deep curiosity about consumer behavior and an instinct for uncovering unmet customer needs. You will have deep experience working with Product Design and User Research, combined with strong analytical instincts and a track record of using research, product analytics, and experimentation to make better product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to create alignment and drive execution across highly cross-functional teams.
  • Experience building products in fintech, payments, crypto, trading, or other consumer financial services is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related technical or analytical field.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
