Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $200B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

About the Role

Dandy is hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our Practice (Doctor) facing product team. In this role, you’ll be laser-focused on our customers (our practices and patients)—digging deep to understand their needs, uncovering pain points, and designing elegant, seamless experiences that support end-to-end workflows for their restoratives. From onboarding and order tracking to post-delivery feedback, you’ll shape the interfaces that define how practices interact with Dandy every day.

About the team

The Practice (Doctor) facing team owns the full experience of one of Dandy’s core offerings. This means designing every interaction a dental practice has with that product—onboarding and education, ordering and tracking, receiving and giving feedback. We obsess over making our Doctor experience intuitive and transparent so that dentists and their staff feel confident, informed, and empowered in every step of the process.

What You'll Do

  • Own the End-to-End User Journey
Partner with PMs, engineers, internal stakeholders, and our customers to identify and define pain points. Create innovative design solutions that streamline workflows and drive measurable outcomes for them.

  • Design for Clarity, Confidence, and Delight
Build clean, scalable interfaces that empower practices to get things done efficiently. Translate complexity into clarity—whether through status updates, helpful nudges, or user-friendly workflows.

  • Iterate and Validate Designs
Use qualitative and quantitative research to iterate on your work. Conduct usability testing and integrate feedback to ensure your solutions are both user-centered and effective.

  • Champion the Customer Perspective

Bring a strong voice for the customer into every discussion. Help teams understand the needs, behaviors, and goals of practices so we can build experiences they trust and enjoy using.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of product design experience, including experience owning complex customer-facing flows

  • A portfolio that showcases industry work and effective storytelling—framing problems, collaborating cross-functionally, and driving to user outcomes

  • Ability to drive strategy for your product area by grounding decisions in deep customer insights and crafting compelling narratives that align stakeholders and build buy-in.

  • Ability to balance business goals, data insights, and user needs to shape your design approach

  • Strong understanding of usability testing and applying both qualitative and quantitative data

  • Thoughtful about fidelity and time—knowing when to move fast vs. when to invest in polish

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in dental, medical, or healthcare tech

  • Experience with double sided user flows (i.e. for Doctors and Patients)
