About Us:

Prompt is revolutionizing healthcare by delivering highly automated and modern B2B enterprise software to rehab therapy businesses, the teams within, and the patients they serve. We have established ourselves as the go-to platform in the space, are setting a new standard in healthcare technology, and rapidly growing our market share.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in delivering strategic, user-focused design solutions for complex problems across our health tech platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders and lead initiatives to improve product usability, accessibility, and scalability.

Why work for Prompt?

  • BIG Challenges: Here at Prompt, we are solving complex and unique problems that have plagued the healthcare industry since the dawn of time.

  • Talented People: Prompt didn't happen by chance, it's a team of incredibly talented and proven individuals who all made their mark before joining forces to build the greatest software on the planet for rehab therapists.

  • Healthy Approach: This isn't an investment bank, we work long hours when it's needed, but at Prompt you own your workload and the entire organization takes a liking to smart work (over hard work).

  • Positive Impact: Prompt helps outpatient rehab organizations treat more patients and deliver better care with less environmental waste. That means less surgery and less narcotic-based pain treatment, all while turning a paper-heavy industry digital. We aren't enthralled with patting ourselves on the back everyday, but it does feel good :)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for large-scale product initiatives.

  • Partner with product and engineering leaders to define goals and success metrics.

  • Conduct user research and testing to uncover pain points and validate solutions.

  • Deliver high-quality designs that align with business goals and design systems.

  • Think in MVPs (minimum viable products): ship the leanest solution that delivers the most value to the most users, with minimal scope creep.

  • Define and evolve design patterns, contributing to the growth of our design system.

  • Advocate for user-centered design across the organization.

  • Mentor mid-level designers to elevate their design skills.

  • Use AI tools to accelerate the design process without trading away quality or user-centered judgment.

  • Collaborate on design strategies for multiple products and features.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio of complex design work.

  • Expertise in design systems, user research, and interaction design.

  • Proficiency with tools like Figma and prototyping tools.

  • Fluency with AI tools such as Claude and Gemini to work efficiently across research, ideation, prototyping, and documentation."

  • Ability to facilitate workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Leadership opportunities within a fast-growing startup.

  • Ownership of design initiatives impacting a diverse set of products.

  • The ability to drive design excellence and innovation in health tech.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
