Are you interested in becoming a Product Manager at Microsoft AI Experiences? We are looking to hire Senior PM for our Redmond or New York locations to build the next generation of content experiences across Edge, Windows, Copilot, and partner surfaces that reach hundreds of millions of people.  

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the end-to-end consumer experiences across MSN surfaces, tasked with developing scalable design systems ensure the trust, safety and content quality.  

This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering and content, where you’ll define AI-first systems to preserve user trust and safety across MSN content and surfaces.

In the role of Senior Product Manager, you will drive measurable improvements in content safety and compliance across AI-powered experiences that align with both government regulations and industry norms. You will lead AI/ML model roadmap that supports the needs of various product teams that leverage our signals and capabilities. 

You will develop a product roadmap, fostering a safe, reliable, and enjoyable experience for users. Embracing the One Microsoft philosophy, you will collaborate with various product teams that benefit from signals and capabilities. Your responsibilities will include developing safety features, devising technical strategies to enhance our trust and safety procedures, and identifying methods to detect and mitigate risk. You will work in close partnership with policy experts, engineers, data scientists, operations, and legal/PR teams to ensure a secure content experience.  

As a proactive product manager, you will oversee the integrity and delivery of products from start to finish. Our teams are global, and you will engage with teams located in Beijing, Dublin, Cairo, and various locations in the United States.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.


Responsibilities
  • Define product vision and strategy, safety product roadmap, set success metrics that inform the success of safety efforts, and partner across the organization to deliver results.  
  • Focus on building effective and scalable features and tools to mitigate risk, ensure safety and prevent misinformation. 
  • Work with policy experts, as well as XFN partners, to establish a workflow to critically analyze, prioritize, and drive cross-functional efforts to achieve success. Develop a robust workflow to manage large-scale product improvement projects to improve community safety.  
  • Define policies for compliance, privacy, and risk management parameters to meet industry and company standards.  
  • Create scalable solutions that can be applied as a framework for solving multiple scenarios across different partners and use cases.  
  • Collect and synthesize partner feedback, analyze metrics to maintain operating standards and constantly refine content signals capabilities.  
  • Educate and drive adoption of safety standards and policies. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing product roadmap for developing AI models and algorithms.  
  • Experience in content management, trust and safety.  
  • Exceptional product sense: ability to anticipate product needs, validate hypotheses, and make informed prioritization decisions.  
  • High agency: self-starter who takes initiative, influences outcomes, thrives in fast-paced and evolving contexts. 
  • Experience in AI-first content management, Trust, and Safety. 
  • Proven experience building scalable content evaluations and frameworks.  
  • Proven experience building frameworks to ensure the trust and safety of AI models.  
  • MBA with concentration on either product management, product strategy, operations management, and content strategy.  
  • Knowledge of new policy development and implementation.  
  • Ability to design product solutions based on evidence; delivering value-adding products, and/or organizational or process changes that benefit the business.  
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams.  
  • Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures.  
  • Data analysis skills for product design and knowledge of methods for researching and analyzing product designs to determine their potential for meeting organizational standards and business needs.  
  • Proficient writing and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience in presenting to senior leadership on regular cadence.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
