Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a driven product leader to own the development, launch, and growth of a new cloud-based CAM product. The right candidate will have demonstrated product experience in the CAD/CAM space, and a hunger to build the next generation of CAM software. You are startup oriented, with experience shipping and iterating MVPs at an early stage. You have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, and are good at balancing multiple objectives. The CAM Senior Product Manager will play a pivotal role in bringing this new-to-world product to market, and in building a venture-scale business.

What You Get to Do
  • Discover and define unmet user needs through extensive customer engagement
  • Translate user requirements into a product roadmap, in close collaboration with technology and engineering teams
  • Manage the full build-measure-learn product development lifecycle, from discovery to definition to testing
  • Lead agile development sprints
  • Develop external partnerships, where needed, to facilitate the full product vision
  • Partner with the GM and other stakeholders to develop the right business strategy for this product
What You Bring to the Team
  • A master's degree non-technical (e.g., MBA, MA, or MFA), or a bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
  • 10+ years in technical product management roles, with 5+ in the CAD/CAM space
  • A passion for discovering and validating unmet user needs
  • Skill in translating unmet user needs into technical specifications that R&D and engineering teams can use to build the right product
  • Ability to develop business strategies with executive stakeholders
  • An ownership mentality
  • Excellent executive communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong desire to build a venture scale business with a small team over the next several years

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel domestically 10%–25%, depending on business needs

The BIG payoff

Compensation Range: Annual salary for this position is expected to be between $137,054 to $205,581 plus participation in our annual bonus plan and long term incentive plan. The actual pay may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
