About the Role

Twitch's Commerce organization drives over $1B+ in annual payouts to creators through innovative monetization products. As we continue to evolve how streamers earn and how communities engage, we're looking for a visionary Sr. Product Manager to own the roadmap for supporting streamers through interactive, fun, and mobile-native commerce products.

In this role, you will define and execute the strategy for helping streamers build deeper connections with their communities through interactive features and engaging monetization tools. You'll own products like Bits while exploring new ways to help creators earn, engage their audiences, and grow their channels. By focusing on streamer success and community connection, you'll help shape how millions of viewers support their favorite streamers across all devices.

You can work from San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA.

You Will:

  • Own the one-to-two year vision & drive prioritization for interactive features that help streamers connect with viewers, including Bits and future innovations in community engagement and creator monetization
  • Own core streamer success metrics including interaction rates, creator earnings, viewer engagement, mobile conversion, and retention.
  • Continuously run experiments to test new features and improve outcomes for streamers and their communities
  • Drive mobile-first product strategy, ensuring streamers can engage and monetize their communities seamlessly on mobile devices where viewers increasingly spend time
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Research, and Community teams to deliver products that help streamers succeed and grow their channels
  • Champion streamer-first thinking, ensuring all products enhance creator earnings, deepen community bonds, and support channel growth
You Have:
  • 5+ years of work experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience building consumer-facing products at scale, particularly mobile applications or creator/community tools
  • Deep understanding of creator needs, community dynamics, and what helps streamers succeed on digital platforms
  • Experience with monetization products and understanding how to balance creator earnings with viewer experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience defining 1-2 year product strategies and executing against ambitious roadmaps
  • Experience with live streaming, gaming, or the broader creator economy
Bonus Points
  • Knowledge of mobile app development and mobile-first design principles
  • Familiarity with virtual goods, digital currencies, or in-app purchase systems
  • Knows how to write basic SQL and how to use experimentation/analytics tools
  • Background in social features, chat systems, or real-time interactive experiences
  • Personal experience as a content creator or deep engagement with creator communities
Perks
  • Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Maternity & Parental Leave

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
