About the Role:

As a Senior Product Manager, Machine Learning Platform, you’ll lead our efforts to build, scale, and drive adoption of the Machine Learning (ML) Platform team’s offerings across the company. You’ll combine product management expertise with ML technical understanding to uncover, diagnose, and prioritize key problems in order to empower the ML Platform team to solve for its customers’ most important needs. You will collaborate with a wide array of teams across machine learning, data science, data engineering, platform & infrastructure engineering, and business to facilitate the development, deployment, and optimization of ML-powered products across the business that serve key company objectives.

You Will:

  • Conduct research to uncover, diagnose, and vet customer teams’ end-to-end lifecycle, needs & wants, and pain points
  • Ensure prioritization of and define requirements for solutions to vetted customer problems
  • Work with the ML Platform engineering team to define and monitor OKRs
  • Instill a rigorous product management process and prioritization framework into the ML Platform team’s sprint, quarterly, and annual planning cycles
  • Identify emerging opportunities for new or existing ML platform offerings
  • Stay abreast of and identify potential opportunities to leverage third-party solutions in the ML platform & infrastructure space
  • Drive adoption of the ML Platform team’s offerings across machine learning, data science, and data engineering teams
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including leadership, engineering, marketing, finance, and customer support teams
  • Present progress, challenges, and outcomes to executive leadership
  • Foster a collaborative culture across teams working on ML initiatives

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management
  • 3+ years of experience working directly on platform or infrastructure products
  • 2+ years of experience working with ML-powered products
  • Proven track record of launching successful platform or infrastructure products & features 
  • Working knowledge of machine learning concepts and their applications in business
  • Experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Strength in keeping teams directed at the most important customer and business challenges
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $152,000.00-$190,000.00. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
