Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of Extended Planning & Analysis from insightsoftware. You'll own the product vision, define what matters most, and work cross-functionally to deliver solutions that help finance leaders plan smarter, move faster, and drive measurable business performance.
You'll work directly with customers, engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success to understand real problems and bring solutions to market that customers actually want.
What You'll Do
Define Product Strategy
  • Build and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that speaks to customer needs and market opportunity.
  • Listen to customers, analyze competitive trends, and identify where we can win.
  • Make smart prioritization calls based on what drives real customer impact and business value.
  • Use market insights, customer feedback, and data to guide product decisions—not guesses.
Deliver Customer Value
  • Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand their challenges and opportunities.
  • Translate what you hear into product requirements and differentiated solutions.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to build high-quality experiences that work.
  • Track adoption and outcomes so you know what's working and what needs to improve.
Drive Growth
  • Support go-to-market initiatives, product launches, and customer adoption.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to clearly communicate why our product matters.
  • Represent insightsoftware with customers, partners, and at industry events.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS.
  • A track record of defining strategy and delivering products that drive real business results.
  • A solid understanding of planning, analytics, finance, or enterprise software markets.
  • Genuine comfort working closely with customers and collaborating across teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills—you can influence without authority.
  • The ability to think strategically while staying hands-on and executing.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with xP&A, FP&A, EPM, CPM, ERP, analytics, or financial software.
  • Knowledge of Office of the CFO technologies and workflows.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled products and data-driven decision platforms.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
