Job Description
At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.
The Opportunity
Are you driven by work that directly shapes the future of aviation? Do you want to define the next generation of the aircraft cabin space for one of the most influential aerospace companies in the world?
Boeing Global Services (BGS) has a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to join us as the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Product Development Lead for Cabin Interiors in Seattle, WA. In this high-visibility, executive-facing role, you will represent the definitive voice of the market to shape our future offerings in seats, galleys, lavatories, and digital cabin integration.
You will not just market existing inventory; you will sit at the very beginning of the product lifecycle. You will turn complex aerospace engineering into high-value commercial narratives, while using market data to influence engineering roadmaps and product launches.
Why Your Leadership Matters
  • Influence the Product Roadmap: Act as the strategic pivot point between Engineering, Sales, and Strategy. You will translate operator insights into product requirements that shape the Boeing fleet for decades
  • Own a Flagship Portfolio: Lead the go-to-market strategy for the essential touchpoints of flight-seats, galleys, and lavatories-that directly dictate airline profitability and passenger loyalty.

Position Responsibilities:
The Mission
You are responsible for the inbound market intelligence and global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the Cabin portfolio. Your goal is to de-risk product development by validating market demand early, shortening sales cycles, and maximizing global market share.
What You'll Execute
  • Shape Inbound Product Development: Partner with Product Management and Engineering during early-stage development to write market requirement documents (MRDs) that align technical specs with actual airline buyer needs as well as capture the voice of the customer directly from our airline customers
  • Architect GTM Strategy: Build definitive playbooks for global expansion, prioritizing fleet types, regional demands, and the unique nuances of retrofit vs. line-fit cycles.
  • Translate Complexity into Value: Convert engineering milestones into "C-Suite ready" narratives that quantify ROI and strategically place the company in alignment with growth visions.
  • Command Competitive Intelligence: Map competitor cabin technologies to identify feature gaps, feeding these insights back to the development teams to guide future R&D.
  • Drive Commercialization & Pricing: Lead value-based pricing strategies and bundling models informed by deep market intelligence, lifecycle positioning, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Enable the Field: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high-stakes deal support, providing the technical ROI models and downtime impact analyses that close complex aftermarket contracts.

The Profile We're Seeking
  • The Technical Translator: Proven track record of taking sophisticated cabin hardware or complex engineering concepts and scaling them through clear, value-driven marketing.
  • The Product Strategist: Experienced in early-stage market validation, segmentation by flight mission, and the global aerospace aftermarket.
  • The Executive Influencer: Ability to command a room of high-level customer stakeholders, simplifying technical complexity without losing the substance required to build trust.
  • The Commercial Catalyst: Focused on business outcomes. You build ROI models, bid supports, and proposal collateral that directly swing deal outcomes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of leadership in Product Marketing, Product Management, or Commercial Strategy, specifically within aircraft interiors, cabin systems, or aerospace aftermarket channels.
  • Familiarity with FAA/EASA certification drivers
  • Ability to travel 25-50% for global customer engagements, alongside regular travel across the Puget Sound Boeing ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Direct experience with seats, galleys, lavatories, or integrated cabin systems and supplier partner management
  • Experience supporting Retrofit and MRO channels, line-fit commercialization, and aftermarket service offers
  • Background in sustainability messaging-quantifying how weight reduction, systems consolidation, and materials choices impact airline carbon and operating-cost goals
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing; an MBA or technical Master's is highly preferred.

Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
