Hi I'm Alan Roth, I lead Product Marketing here at Jane, which means I spend my days thinking about how we tell Jane's story, understand the practitioners we serve, and grow thoughtfully, especially as we expand in the US. Outside of work, I'm a soccer player, a traveler whenever I can manage it, and a dad to two daughters who keep me honest about what actually matters.

This role is focused on Payments and Financial Services a growing area of Jane's product. Our integrated suite of financial products is a critical part of how we help practitioners run their businesses. This role owns the go-to-market strategy for Jane’s portfolio of offerings including Payments, Clinic Financing, Payroll, and an expanding set of tools we're building to serve our practitioners better. We're looking for someone who understands how financial features serve a broader customer workflow, thinks like a business owner, and can translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling value for the practitioners who rely on Jane every day. You'll work closely with the Financial Services product team, our marketing and customer success leadership, and collaborate with other PMMs across the Jane marketing org.

This presents a unique, career defining opportunity to lead the adoption of Fintech in one of the most reputable, fast-growing, and AI-forward software companies serving health and wellness clinics.

What Impact We're Looking for You to Make
  • Own go-to-market strategy and execution for Jane's payments and financial products, starting with Jane Payments and expanding into Jane Capital, Jane Payroll, and future products as we grow to better serve our practitioners.

  • Develop and maintain sharp positioning and messaging for Jane's payments and financial products, translating product capabilities into clear, customer-centric value propositions that drive understanding, adoption, and trust.

  • Lead cross-functional launch programs that improve product adoption, accelerate revenue, and deliver clear, measurable business results.

  • Translate customer and market insights into action, synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to influence product direction, roadmap priorities, and commercial strategy.

  • Build alignment across Product, Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing by communicating strategy, customer insights, and priorities with clarity.

  • Introduce repeatable frameworks that improve how we plan, execute, and measure product marketing initiatives across a growing suite of financial products.

What Experience We Need
  • 5+ years in Product Marketing or a related role, with direct experience marketing payments, billing, or financial products within a SaaS platform.

  • You understand how financial features serve a broader customer workflow — not just as standalone products, but as part of how a business operates day to day.

  • Experience marketing technology-forward or AI-powered features, and comfortable using AI tools in your own workflow to move faster and think sharper.

  • Hands-on experience with pricing and packaging for platform or financial products.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop clear positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for complex products in competitive markets.

  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of owning commercial outcomes, not just launch execution.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists, you don't wait for a playbook, you write one.

  • Experience with healthcare SaaS products is a plus.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
