Who We Are

Imprint is reimagining co-branded credit cards & financial products to be smarter, more rewarding, and truly brand-first. We partner with companies like H-E-B, Turkish Airlines, Brooks Brothers, and Eddie Bauer to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. Our platform combines advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and seamless UX to help brands offer powerful financial products—without becoming a bank.

Co-branded cards account for over $300 billion in U.S. annual spend—but most are still powered by legacy banks. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, tech-forward, and built for today’s consumer. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, and Khosla Ventures, we’re building a world-class team to redefine how people pay—and how brands grow. If you want to work fast, solve hard problems, and make a real impact, we’d love to meet you.

The Team

Sitting at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Business teams, Product Operations develops automated tools, optimize incident management, and drive continuous improvements to support Product and Engineering at scale.

The Role

The Senior Software Engineer, Product Operations, will build and optimize the technical frameworks that power our operations, ensuring seamless product performance and scalability. This hands-on role blends software engineering, automation, and operational problem-solving to streamline workflows, eliminate manual processes, and enhance system reliability.

Location

This is a hybrid role, splitting your time between remote work and 2–3 days per week on-site at our New York City, San Francisco or Seattle offices (as required by your manager).

What You’ll Do

  • Automation & Tooling: Design and develop scalable automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance system performance.

  • Technical Execution: Write, test, and deploy production-quality code to optimize workflows and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Incident Management: Build and refine incident response processes, ensuring timely triage, root cause analysis, and resolution in alignment with SLAs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to solve technical challenges, improve system reliability, and drive process efficiencies.

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage analytics to identify bottlenecks, monitor system health, and drive continuous improvements.

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, technical operations, or product support, with a focus on automation and system optimization.

  • Strong coding skills in Go, Java, Python or a similar language, with experience deploying and maintaining production-level code.

  • Experience in incident management, debugging, and operational troubleshooting.

  • Deep understanding of SDLC, QA processes, APIs, and system reliability best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Leading configured work computers of your choice

  • Flexible paid time off

  • Fully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverage

  • Additional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA

  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parents

  • An understanding that successful hybrid work requires flexibility and an appreciation for asynchronous work

  • Access to industry-leading technology across all of our business units, stemming from our philosophy that we should invest in resources for our team that foster innovation, optimization, and productivity

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
