Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to drive operational execution, delivery discipline, and organizational effectiveness across our Data & Analytics organization.

This role will establish and manage the operating framework that enables our analytics, data engineering, and platform teams to execute consistently against business priorities. The ideal candidate combines strong program management capabilities with exceptional organizational judgment, communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to bring structure, accountability, and clarity to complex, fast-moving environments.

Working directly with the Vice President of Data & Analytics, this individual will own program coordination, delivery governance, operational reporting, tactical communications, and organizational processes. The role is both strategic and highly hands-on, translating leadership priorities into coordinated execution while ensuring commitments, risks, dependencies, and decisions remain visible and actively managed.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Portfolio Management

• Establish and maintain an integrated portfolio of Data & Analytics initiatives, projects, milestones, and organizational commitments.

• Coordinate delivery across analytics, data engineering, platform engineering, product, and other business functions.

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies, resource considerations, and delivery milestones.

• Identify delivery risks, competing priorities, and organizational bottlenecks; drive resolution or timely escalation.

• Ensure organizational priorities translate into actionable work with clear ownership, expectations, and measurable outcomes.

Execution Management & Operational Discipline

• Establish and manage the organization's operating cadence, including project reviews, action tracking, progress reporting, and follow-through.

• Proactively monitor commitments, identify execution gaps, and coordinate corrective actions with accountable leaders.

• Maintain clear visibility into project health, deliverables, blockers, and decisions requiring leadership attention.

• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

• Build lightweight, repeatable processes that improve execution consistency, accountability, and delivery predictability without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

Program Communications, Reporting & Leadership Support

• Own tactical communications across Data & Analytics initiatives, including project updates, milestone reporting, delivery status, operational changes, and stakeholder coordination.

• Establish consistent, proactive communication practices that keep stakeholders informed of progress, commitments, risks, and dependencies.

• Prepare and distribute regular program and portfolio updates, ensuring information is accurate, timely, actionable, and appropriate for the intended audience.

• Develop executive-ready reporting, presentations, supporting analysis, and briefing materials that provide leadership with clear visibility into organizational performance and strategic initiative progress.

• Proactively surface emerging issues, material risks, and decisions requiring leadership attention, providing context, impact assessments, and recommended actions.

• Partner closely with the VP of Data & Analytics to develop the supporting content, evidence, and operational insights needed for strategic communications, executive messaging, and critical stakeholder engagements.

• Independently manage routine operational communications while escalating consequential or strategically sensitive matters to leadership.

Demand Management & Delivery Coordination

• Establish and maintain structured intake, triage, and prioritization processes for incoming work.

• Partner with functional leaders to evaluate demand against available capacity, existing commitments, and strategic priorities.

• Improve transparency into resource allocation, workload, delivery forecasts, and competing requests.

• Coordinate planning and delivery commitments across recurring operational responsibilities and strategic initiatives.

• Support the transition from reactive, request-driven work toward predictable, scalable delivery.

Organizational Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and continuously improve operating processes, tools, standards, and management routines across Data & Analytics.

• Identify opportunities to reduce administrative overhead, eliminate redundant processes, and improve organizational efficiency.

• Establish meaningful operational metrics to measure delivery performance, predictability, and execution effectiveness.

• Partner with functional leaders to strengthen cross-team coordination, accountability, and organizational readiness.

• Support organizational planning, quarterly priorities, strategic initiatives, and operational transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in program management, technical project management, business operations, or related roles, including ownership of complex cross-functional initiatives.

• Demonstrated success establishing and managing program operations in fast-moving, technically complex organizations.

• Experience working with data, analytics, software engineering, technology platforms, or related technical functions.

• Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to independently manage competing priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including operational reporting, executive presentation development, and stakeholder coordination.

• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, challenge assumptions, and drive accountability without direct reporting authority.

• Strong working knowledge of project and portfolio management tools, methodologies, and operational performance measures.

• Ability to translate ambiguous leadership objectives into structured plans, deliverables, and execution routines.

• Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to synthesize complex operational information into actionable insights, recommendations, and leadership decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, business intelligence, analytics, or data product organizations.

• Experience establishing program management or operational governance capabilities in growing or transforming organizations.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and modern project management and collaboration tools.

• Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other complex, regulated business environments.
