Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with 6–8 years of strong manual testing experience, particularly in web applications within the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, capable of independently handling testing responsibilities, and have hands-on experience in SQL queries, API testing (Postman or equivalent tools), and test automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently plan, design, and execute test cases for web-based applications.
- Ensure quality and performance of insurance domain applications through thorough manual testing.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure test coverage.
- Contribute to test automation development; prior experience in test automation is mandatory.
- Working knowledge or hands-on experience with Playwright is a plus.
Required Skills:
- 6–8 years of manual testing experience with a strong QA mindset.
- Good exposure to web application testing and Insurance domain workflows.
- Strong knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman.
- Good understanding of SQL for database validation.
- Proven experience in developing or maintaining automated test scripts.
- Familiarity with Playwright is an added advantage.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
