At Mudflap, we're modernizing the $1 trillion trucking industry, the backbone of the U.S. economy. By helping over 100,000 underserved small businesses save over $1 billion on fuel, Mudflap has quickly grown into a profitable fintech platform that processes billions in annual payment volume.

As our Revenue Operations Leader, you’ll own Mudflap’s RevOps function during a critical stage of growth. Reporting directly to our Co-Founder & CEO, you’ll partner with our leadership team to stand up and scale our revenue engine. Helping us define the systems, processes, operating rhythms, and insights that enable our GTM teams to perform at their best.

We’re looking for a builder and driver who can move seamlessly between strategy and hands-on execution. You’ll use data to uncover opportunities, solve problems across the revenue organization, and champion how we use AI and automation to rethink workflows, improve decision-making, and create leverage — building a smarter, more efficient revenue engine as Mudflap scales.

We're profitable, growing quickly, and building modern financial products for one of the largest industries in the world.

*We’re open to hiring this role at either the Senior Manager or Director level based on the candidate’s experience, scope, and demonstrated ability to lead and scale a RevOps function.

Work Location: Remote

Expectations (In this role, you will):

  • Own revenue performance: Diagnose pipeline and conversion gaps while improving forecasting accuracy and visibility across the business

  • Drive GTM strategy: Partner with Sales and Business Development to identify, prioritize, and execute on key growth opportunities

  • Build and scale operations: Design and optimize CRM systems, processes, and reporting across the revenue lifecycle—initially hands-on, with the opportunity to scale the function over time

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives: Align and drive execution across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product

  • Enable data-driven decisions: Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that influence leadership decisions

  • Shape our AI-enabled GTM strategy: Evaluate where AI, automation, and emerging technology can create meaningful leverage across the revenue lifecycle—from prospecting and pipeline management to forecasting, reporting, and cross-functional workflows.

Experience (What we look for):

  • Experience: 6+ years in RevOps / Sales Ops / GTM Ops at a growth-stage company, with ownership of pipeline, forecasting, CRM, and revenue systems

  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems and translate data into clear insights and business decisions

  • Hands-on RevOps Execution: Proven track record of building and improving processes, systems, and workflows with end-to-end ownership

  • GTM & Revenue Acumen: Strong understanding of sales motions, funnel dynamics, and key revenue drivers

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams and senior leadership

  • Systems & Tools: Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and reporting / RevOps tooling

  • AI-first operator: You actively experiment with AI and automation, understand where they can—and cannot—improve a revenue motion, and know how to turn promising use cases into scalable workflows with measurable impact.

Perks and Benefits (What we offer):

  • Competitive salary and equity in a high-growth startup

  • Multiple health benefit options

  • Responsible Time Off

  • 401(k) matching

  • Opportunities and support for major career growth

  • Annual Company offsite event (Mudfest!)

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
