Role Description

This role requires a Senior Salesforce Engineer who is interested in working layers of a web software stack (front end, back end, APIs, database and/or data pipeline), and can execute with high quality in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. A successful candidate would be self-supportive and an excellent troubleshooter who takes initiative to identify and resolve bugs and issues.  You have a passion for software engineering and some scrum/agile experience.  Communication skills are a must, as you will interact frequently and closely with business stakeholders, TPMs, engineers across teams.

In this role, you'll:

  • Write and review technical documents and participate in code reviews. 
  • Write code and unit tests, and participate in build and deployment support.
  • Apply agile software techniques, and partner with TPMs to manage software delivery timelines and stakeholder expectations. 
  • Troubleshoot to dive deep to resolve issues and bugs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering and business stakeholders to work through their needs, balancing technical and business priorities to accomplish shared goals;  build trusted relationships with peers and stakeholders.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of Salesforce engineering experience, such as Apex, Lightning Web, triggers, SOQL.
  • 5 years of experience with Salesforce Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud Engagement (ExactTarget)
  • Experience integrating Salesforce / SFDC with business applications.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
  • 8 years of experience designing, building, and troubleshooting web-based software, preferably in Apex or Java.
  • Advanced communication skills with a proven track record of owning large-scale projects from end-to-end in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Expertise in data management and performance tuning, including handling large data volumes with SQL/SOQL and structuring databases.
  • Deep technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), Journey Builder, and Automation Studio. 
  • Experience understanding complex code bases and API design techniques, specifically for building omnichannel communication microservices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $139,200 - $198,700 + bonus + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
