About the Role:

We are looking for a researcher to lead survey research and analyses. Your primary focus will be on Product, with some work in Marketing. You will report to the Director of UX and Research, joining a team of mixed-methods researchers. You will be highly hands-on and executional. Our surveys cover a range of topics across a wide array of customers around the globe, so experience with diverse customers is critical. Over the next 6–12 months, the role offers opportunities to expand your skill set and impact via other research methods.

You Will:

  • Conduct survey research on specific customer experience and product design issues (e.g., pricing models, concept and usability testing, and segmentation)

  • Lead projects end to end, including sample design, questionnaire development and testing, programming, fieldwork, incentives, analysis and synthesis, and communicating with a range of collaborators and stakeholders

  • Investigate with deep curiosity the answers to challenging questions, going where you need to get the right data (e.g., original data collection, pre-existing data from our platform, third-party information)

  • Work with operational/executional teams to contribute to high-priority reports and to influence decisions

  • Help uplevel research plans, QA questions, and assist with data analysis

  • Partner with mixed methods researchers and analysts to contribute to reports that involve survey, qualitative, and on-platform data

  • Stay connected to survey industry trends and best practices

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in survey research, including sample design and pre-testing; 2+ years should involve B2C research with customers in multiple countries and in multiple languages

  • A deep foundation in sample design, question validation, descriptive statistics, and tests of representativeness

  • Experience working with vendors (online and/or intercept providers, translation vendors)

  • High proficiency with numerous survey types (e.g., conjoint, paired comparison, multivariate, MaxDiff, audience segmentation, Van Westendrop, NPS, CSAT, values/beliefs scales)

  • Expertise with Qualtrics or other survey platforms

  • Expertise with formulas in Google Sheets or Excel

  • Familiarity SQL, R, or Python

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $124,000-$155,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
