The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Technical Lead to join the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team in Seattle, WA or Renton, WA.
The Senior Technical Lead will specialize in Salesforce CRM to lead end-to-end implementations, integrations, and platform optimizations. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce technical expertise, strong solution architecture and integration experience, and proven leadership in delivering complex, cross-functional CRM programs. This role will drive technical strategy, mentor engineers and admins, ensure best-practice development processes, and deliver scalable, secure and compliant solutions that transform our sales, marketing and customer support functions of the Boeing Global Services business unit within the Boeing Company.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical design and delivery of Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or equivalents)
  • Architect and govern integrations between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, billing, analytics, identity providers, marketing automation, data warehouses) using middleware (MuleSoft, Informatica integration services) and APIs
  • Define and enforce Salesforce architecture standards, data models, and security model (sharing rules, permission sets)
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, solution documents, and implementation plans
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Salesforce developers, admins, and integration engineers; provide technical direction and code reviews to assure first time quality and adherence to DevSecOps practices
  • Oversee data migration and data quality projects, including ETL/ELT process design and execution
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and PMO to prioritize backlog, estimate effort, and manage delivery risks
  • Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning for CRM platforms
  • Maintain compliance with security, privacy, and governance requirements; participate in audits and vendor assessments
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, industry best practices, and new ecosystem tools; recommend adoption strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Salesforce solutions such as Service cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and MuleSoft
  • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or architect role
  • 5+ years of experience Salesforce Data Modelling, large data volume management, and other applications like Snowflake, Data Cloud
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and governor limits
  • 3+ years of experience with middleware and iPaaS tools (MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, or similar)
  • 3+ years of experience in agile delivery environments and leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketing Cloud, Pardot/Eloqua) and CPQ solutions (Salesforce CPQ or third-party)
  • Experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, or combinations such as Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant, etc.
  • Experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect for large enterprise-scale implementations with exposure to global rollouts, change management, and data governance policies
  • Experience with identity federation (SAML, OAuth), single sign-on (SSO), and enterprise authentication solutions
  • Experience with analytics and reporting platforms (Tableau, Einstein Analytics, Power BI) and data warehouse integration
  • Experience with cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and automated security scanning tools for code and configurations

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $143,650 - $194,350
