Overview

Entra Edge & Quality Services and Programs seeks a Senior Technical Program Management Manager to help our teams tackle some of our most complex problems. You will create and sustain effective partnerships across our business and beyond, running programs that intersect key corporate functions like Finance. Programs you own improve our engineering processes and drive cost efficiencies. You will make it more efficient to operate hyperscale infrastructure running on millions of cloud instances globally. To do this you must be expert in business & program management, stakeholder management and cloud infrastructure and operating mission-critical services.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Drive strategic programs that improve engineering processes and cost / operational efficiency across hyperscale infrastructure. 
  • Performance Metrics: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and efficiency of cost efficiency initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, and product management, to align strategies and objectives.
  • Represent the team in executive forums and cross-org collaborations. 

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Requirements:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
 
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Experience working in a role where a team/organization conceived, built, operated, and evolved cloud services – including those which are ‘mission critical’ with challenging availability targets, or services which have reached significant scale – e.g., hundreds of millions of users, millions of API calls per second.
  • Possess technical acumen and an ability to translate what is really needed into clear requirements. 
  • Experience working in business and operational roles and managing programs that involve complex budgeting, revenue projection, or margin analysis.
  • Ability to lead and drive consensus across team, leadership, and even organizational boundaries and to deliver outcomes – the scope of this role is division-wide.
  • Experience working in the Identity and/or Security technology domains.



Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
