We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team! In this high-leverage role, you will bridge the gap between Engineering, Product, and Business teams to automate Flexport’s Catalog and Billing processes.
You will own two critical mandates: Catalog Automation and Billing Automation. You will drive the strategy to automate Flexport’s service catalog, dynamically creating catalog offerings from underlying procurement costs and other supply systems - this is an XL project that will require collaboration across +5 Engineer teams. You will also expand the scope of Flexport’s bill processing tech, including building out dedicated UX for billing teams, bolstered by AI tools for automation and finger-tip user insights.
You will- Partner with Engineering, Product and Business stakeholders to orchestrate the delivery of key initiatives
- Define and influence engineering solutions and roadmap
- Build and manage program plans, Jira dashboards, measure and track programs from concept to delivery.
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, drive roadmap alignment to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Proactively identify and mitigate program risks, and remove program blockers
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communications
- Facilitate ongoing discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution. Determine people, process or technical solutions to address issues
- Dive deep into data and systems to help resolve technical impediments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of technical program management experience
- Experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs
- Proficient in agile processes and program management methodologies
- Strong understanding of technology architecture concepts, software & product development methodologies
- Be data and metrics driven
- Able to effectively manage ambiguity and competing priorities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or high-volume transactional marketplaces.
