SUMMARY:   

New Era Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated Specialized Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology initiatives supporting construction projects and infrastructure deployments. This role will oversee multiple projects at varying phases while ensuring successful delivery of IT infrastructure components on time, within scope, and within budget. . The ideal candidate brings strong experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across technical, construction, vendor, and business teams. 

PRIMARY DUTIES:  

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across different stages of the project lifecycle.  
  • Lead cross-functional teams including internal departments, external partners, vendors, and business stakeholders.  
  • Apply Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies based on project needs and organizational requirements.  
  • Develop and manage project budgets, procurement activities, contracts, and vendor relationships.  
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, risks, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.  
  • Present project updates, scope changes, risks, and status reports clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.  
  • Facilitate and confidently lead project meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure accountability and progress.  
  • Maintain and update project documentation, project artifacts, project management tools, dashboards, and status presentation materials.  
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks/issues proactively, and implement mitigation strategies.  
  • Conduct periodic site visits to construction sites to review project progress, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.  
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.

  • Required Qualifications 
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager managing multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Strong strategic thinking and critical analysis skills.  
  • Experience working with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.  
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, procurement, contract management, and vendor coordination.  
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive and operational audiences.  
  • Proficiency in project management tools and reporting platforms.  
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.  
  • Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience in IT infrastructure and technology deployment projects within construction environments.  
  • Experience in construction management and/or healthcare environments is considered a strong asset.  
  • Experience working within complex enterprise or public sector environments.  
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or related project management certifications are considered an asset.  
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong facilitation, documentation, and reporting skills. 

 Experience: 

  • 7+ years of experience in highly technical Project Management environment 
  • Agile Certification or Experience 
  • Waterfall Certification or Experience 
  • Experience working within structured change management processes. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and manage project plans and technical programs. 
  • Experience interacting with third-party vendors and carriers. 

Professional & Soft Skills: 

  • Execution & Accountability: Ability to take ownership of assigned migration tasks and drive them to completion with moderate supervision, proactively flagging risks and blockers. 
  • Organization & Attention to Detail: Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail — critical for tracking migration waves, IP re-addressing, and configuration accuracy. 
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to provide clear status updates, document migration outcomes, and participate in bridge calls during cutovers. 
  • Problem-Solving: Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently during time-sensitive migration windows. 
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary migration team (compute, storage, security, applications) and escalate appropriately. 
  • Documentation: Proficient in creating and maintaining comprehensive migration documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, validation checklists, and post-migration reports. 
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic project environments with shifting timelines and priorities; willing to work off-hours during migration cutovers as needed. 

 REQUIRED EDUCATION: 

Minimum of Bachelors Degree Required. 

 EXPERIENCE: 

Senior Level (7+ years in similar role) 

 WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Hybrid Work (2 days in Office, 3 days Remote) 

 EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 

General hours 8AM to 4PM OR 9AM to 5PM
