Latitude AI (lat.ai) is building the future of Ford’s autonomy roadmap to make travel safer, less stressful, and more enjoyable for everyone. Bringing this vision to scale, our fully in-house developed hands-free ADAS platform will debut on the all-new Ford Fathom in 2027.

When you join the Latitude team, you’ll work alongside leading experts across machine learning and robotics, cloud platforms, mapping, sensors and compute systems, test operations, systems and safety engineering – all dedicated to redefining the relationship between people and their vehicles for millions of customers.

As a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, we operate independently to develop automated driving technology at the speed of a technology startup. Latitude is headquartered in Pittsburgh with engineering centers in Dearborn, Mich., and Palo Alto, Calif.

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to identify, engage, and build relationships with top-tier engineering talent. In this role, you will own the top of the funnel for our most complex and hardest-to-fill technical roles—focusing primarily on Autonomy, Machine Learning, and Executive hiring. This contract will be 1 year in length with potential for conversion.

You will partner closely with Hiring Managers and the Senior Recruiting Manager to conduct market analysis, execute targeted outreach campaigns, and align high-caliber talent to our engineering teams.

  • Source Passive Talent: Execute targeted, creative sourcing strategies using Findem, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and alternative channels to engage top-tier talent.
  • Craft High-Converting Campaigns: Design authentic, compelling outreach messages. Track industry leaders and maintain an active pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Strategic Hiring Partnership: Attend intake meetings, help calibrate job requirements, and provide real-time market insights on talent availability and compensation dynamics.
  • Screen & Evaluate: Conduct initial technical screens to assess candidates' technical background, career motivations, and organizational fit—pivoting talent across open roles within the Latitude ecosystem as needed.
  • Pipeline Management: Deliver a seamless candidate hand-off to recruiters with detailed screen notes while maintaining high ATS data hygiene.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Track pipeline conversion metrics to analyze outreach performance, identify high-yielding channels, and iterate rapidly.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience: 4+ years of technical sourcing experience, paired with a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Domain Expertise: Strong technical acumen, with preferred familiarity in Machine Learning, Autonomous Vehicles, or complex hardware/software systems.
  • Sourcing Mastery: Proven expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter and modern AI-driven sourcing platforms (e.g., Findem).
  • AI-Leveraged Workflow: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and automation to optimize sourcing efficiency and outreach personalization.
  • White-Glove Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of delivering a high-touch, candidate-centric experience.
  • Agile Screening Ability: Ability to naturally evaluate technical scope and candidate motivations in a fluid, conversational screen without relying on rigid scripts.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
