    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented Senior Web Designer to join our dynamic web team. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing user-centered solutions that enhance the overall experience of Freshworks.com. You will be focused in ensuring that approaches are customer-centric while continuously working to achieve business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, visual designers and publishers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Your work will involve understanding user needs, defining user flows, and creating wireframes and prototypes that bring ideas to life.

    The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter and driven by curiosity and delivering impact to the business and customer. In your work, you opt to help gather stakeholder inputs, synthesize information, and help showcase the art of what’s possible. You hold a high bar, ensuring continual progress over perfection. You maintain attention to detail together with a strong pulse on industry trends, best practices, while leveraging your experience to deliver impact for the customer and business.
     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • User Research: Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviors.Generate syntheses that can be actioned by product managers and business stakeholders alike.

    • User Experience Design: Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and improvements, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

    • Interaction Design: Develop interaction models and design solutions that are aesthetically pleasing and enhance usability.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, present design solutions, and iterate based on feedback.

    • Usability Testing: Plan and execute usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.

    • Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across Freshworks.com.

    • Design Thinking: Apply design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions that align with business goals.

    • Documentation: Create detailed design specifications and documentation to guide development and ensure that designs are implemented as intended.

    • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve design processes and solutions.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: 8+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
    • Proficiency: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
    • Knowledge: Deep understanding of UX principles, design thinking, interaction design, and usability best practices.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale.
    • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
    • Innovation and Trend Integration: Continuously explore and evaluate emerging design trends, tools, and technologies. Proactively incorporate innovative design concepts and suggest new approaches to keep our user experience cutting-edge and aligned with industry advancements.

    Additional Information

    This role is based in the Seattle Metro Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus

    Compensation Package

    $150,000-$180,000 USD Base Salary + Variable Compensation (where applicable)
