Included Health is currently hiring a Senior Product Designer to help us create a caring, seamless, and life-changing future. You will work with partners from all over the organization on large impact design initiatives driving them from ambiguity, to defined and actionable directions.

What you will do

  • Define areas of product improvement tied to strategic vision and business objectives
  • Craft thoughtful hypotheses and novel design solutions for some of our biggest problems using research, prototyping, data, and best-in-class design
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical leadership, marketing, product and engineering partners to facilitate strategic discussions, and drive progress toward impactful solutions
  • Conduct research and work with data analysts to ground recommendations in member perspectives and challenges
  • Present work to organizational leadership with open dialogue and drive toward action
  • Create phenomenal consumer grade design work with strong visual storytelling
  • Mentor and coach others on the team learn to grow their visual storytelling capabilities

Skills and Experience

  • At least 7 years' experience in an individual contributor role, in UX Design
  • An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in human-centered design with the ability to institute organizational change and achieve outcomes
  • Strong visual communicator able to bring ideas and stories to life in high fidelity designs and motion
  • Experience building animation and video in After Effects, Principle, or equivalent strongly desired
  • Experience building strong partnerships with cross-functional leaders to develop the strategy and approach for products or programs
  • Ability to measure success of design solutions through partnership with data scientists and analysts
  • Experience with a variety of methods to bring design thinking to the forefront of an organization
  • Excellent and persuasive written and verbal communication skills grounded in storytelling and data
  • Healthcare experience highly desired

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

  • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
  • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.

The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:


Zone A: $128,130 - $180,990 + equity + benefits

Zone B: $140,943 - $199,089 + equity + benefits

Zone C: $153,756 - $217,188 + equity + benefits

Zone D: $166,569 - $235,287 + equity + benefits


This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.


Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations. In addition to receiving a competitive base salary, the compensation package may include, depending on the role, the following:
