NVIDIA is hiring an SOC Architect to build NVLink Fusion products that combine industry leading GPU, CPU, and Networking solutions. We are looking for special individuals with a desire to deliver innovative products. Together, we will build the next generation of life changing chips. If you are a motivated individual that understands how SoC systems are architected and built, has intimate knowledge of computer architecture, and has experience with chip development cycles, this is your place to be.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Architect the next generation of datacenter solutions using NVLink Fusion technologies

  • Focus on chip and chiplet solutions for datacenter systems, but working across system and software teams

  • Create, review, and drive microarchitectural solutions for connectivity, coherency, power management, security, memory management and chip level issues. Mentor junior engineers working on microarchitecture.

  • Drive solutions for system level issues including, networking protocols, memory models, boot, and security across a range of products and use cases.

  • Work closely with our industry partners to define and develop the best solution for a specific customer or target market segment.

  • Evaluate industry standards, protocols, components and tools for applicability to our solutions. Drive adoption as needed.

What We Need To See:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ years of work experience focused on CPU, GPU or similar high performance architectures.

  • Experience developing architectural solutions structures and working with industry standards/protocols for compute, connectivity, and memory.

  • Understanding of the performance, power and security implications of microarchitectural features.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.

  • A drive to continuously learn and expand architectural and microarchitectural breadth and depth.

The base salary range is 196,000 USD - 368,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
