The Daily Wire is seeking a Social Content Specialist to keep our Facebook and Instagram pages active and engaging throughout the weekend. In this role, you’ll turn content from our existing talent library into finished posts and take ownership of publishing while the broader Social team is offline. This position requires weekend availability during designated Central Time coverage hours and may be performed remotely or from our Nashville office.

Primary Responsibilities

    • Create weekend Facebook content using the Company’s existing talent library, including long-form videos, podcast episodes, prior posts, and still images.

    • Edit short-form video clips, design image posts using templates and visual performance trends, and write original text posts that align with the Company’s voice.

    • Manage the weekend publishing pipeline, including titles, post copy, images, tagging, categorization, and scheduling for weekend and overnight coverage.

    • Serve as the Company’s active Facebook presence while the broader Social team is offline, publishing independently within established brand and editorial guidelines.

    • Exercise sound editorial judgment around breaking news and sensitive topics, holding posts and escalating concerns to the Platform Manager when appropriate.

    • Analyze content performance, including click-through rates, watch time, completion rates, follower growth, saves, and shares, to identify opportunities for improvement.

    • Test thumbnails, headlines, and posting times, and deliver weekly recaps highlighting results and recommendations for further testing.

    • Stay current on Facebook features, format changes, and content trends; follow Company brand and data compliance guidelines, flag outdated guidance, and support additional duties as assigned.

Experience & Requirements

    • Proficiency with video editing and graphic design tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva.

    • Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite for content scheduling and publishing.

    • Strong understanding of Facebook’s algorithms, content formats, and platform best practices.

    • Excellent writing, grammar, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

    • Sound editorial judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including in a remote environment.

    • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace for remote work.

    • Availability during designated weekend coverage hours in Central Time.
