Software Development Engineer – Automation (TypeScript / Playwright)

Design and develop automation frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright, build automated tests for UI and API systems, and create CI/CD pipelines while collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop automation frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright• Build automated tests for UI and API-based systems
• Develop components, services, and data models supporting automation
• Collaborate with satellite, network, and security engineering teams
• Translate complex finance, legal, and tax requirements into testable automation
• Build CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and system health dashboards
• Troubleshoot failures and improve long-term system reliability
Required
• 4+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)• 3+ years of experience in system design and architecture
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Playwright
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with JSON
• Hands-on AWS experience and cloud-native development skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks
Preferred
• Experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Step Functions, ECS• 3+ years working across the full SDLC (design through operations)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
