Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate cloud-native services and applications at scale.
Implement features and platform capabilities that leverage AI, automation, and agentic workflows using frameworks like Azure AI foundry, Microsoft Copilot studio or equivalent.
Drive end-to-end delivery of projects spanning multiple services and components.
Build high-quality, maintainable, and observable software with strong emphasis on reliability, security, privacy, and operational excellence.
Analyse production telemetry and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Participate in live-site support, incident response, root-cause analysis, and service health improvements.
Contribute to AI-native engineering practices, including the use of AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, and operational workflows.
Qualifications
Basic / Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Azure or other cloud platforms.
Experience building AI-powered applications, copilots, agents, or intelligent automation solutions.
Experience with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, or related Microsoft cloud technologies.
Experience with telemetry, observability, incident management, and service reliability engineering.
Experience working in highly collaborative cross-functional environments.
Passion for improving customer experiences through data-driven engineering and AI innovation.
Other Qualifications
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,400 - $168,100 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $111,100 - $183,700 per year.
