About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Join Salesforce's Agentforce engineering team in San Francisco or Bellevue and own products end-to-end on one of the most advanced AI platforms in the world. You'll build the intelligent tools powering the next generation of AI agents — shipping fullstack features alongside ML engineers, UX experts, and product managers who believe execution and learning go hand in hand.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Architect, design, and ship scalable full-stack applications on the Agentforce platform — owning everything from backend API and data modeling to polished, responsive UI experiences

  • Build and iterate on AI agent tooling using modern agentic frameworks and LLM-backed workflows, contributing to platform-level multi-agent systems and interaction patterns

  • Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices, with AI as a core part of your development workflow by pushing the boundaries of AI development tools to deliver secure, optimized, and high-quality code

  • Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows, driving efficiency and innovation at scale

You're Our Person If...

  • Deep knowledge of OOP (Java or Python) with proven fullstack ability — comfortable owning UI (React/TypeScript), APIs, and backend services within the same product

  • Hands-on experience building on agentic platforms (Agentforce, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar) including prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and tool/function calling for generative AI applications

  • A demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering — using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to move faster, build fluency across the stack, and contribute well beyond your core specialty

  • A related technical degree required.

Even Better If...

  • Prior experience with multi-agent interaction, task planning, and LLM orchestration

  • Experience building UI that surfaces AI-generated content — streaming responses, agent traces, and tool call visualization

  • Experience with model evaluation, agent observability, and LLM output quality frameworks

  • Familiarity with Agile/TDD practices and experience supporting production customer escalations

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
