About The Role  

As a Post Sales Solution Architect at IP Fabric, you will be the technical owner of customer success after the sale. You will work directly with enterprise network, security, and infrastructure teams to deploy IP Fabric, accelerate adoption, troubleshoot complex environments, and help customers realize measurable business value from their network data. 

Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will partner closely with Customer Success, Support, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure customers successfully deploy, operate, and expand their use of IP Fabric across some of the world's most complex network environments. 

What You'll Do 

Customer Engagement & Solution Delivery:

  • Guide customers through their journey with IP Fabric, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing value realization.
  • Understand the limitations of traditional network management approaches and the opportunities in leveraging network data to transform enterprises.
  • Refine and validate use cases and outcomes created by the Pre-Sales team and establish post-sales acceptance criteria.
  • Lead technical onboarding and deployment activities for enterprise customers, ensuring successful implementation and time-to-value.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing client support to maximize the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Identify and nurture customer champions to drive long-term engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for network, infrastructure, and security teams by providing architectural guidance and operational best practices.
  • Develop and draft clear and concise Statements of Work (SOWs) that outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Manage project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Occasionally travel for company meetings, industry events, and customer visits (once to three times a quarter). 

Cross-Functional Coordination  

  • Collaborate with product management, product marketing, and engineering to provide field-facing feedback that influences the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with IP Fabric’s support and sales teams to maximize customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Contribute deployment best practicestechnical enablement material, and repeatable implementation methodologies that improve customer outcomes at scale. 

Technical Expertise  

  • Deploy and provide basic support for the IP Fabric platform in customer environments, including understanding deployment methods, platform limitations, and administrative access requirements.
  • Assist sales and technology partners in integrating IP Fabric into broader solutions.
  • Scope, design, and oversee the implementation of targeted solutions, extensions, or integrations that enhance the core product offering.
  • Advise customers on network automationassuranceobservability, and operational excellence initiatives leveraging IP Fabric's network data platform. 
What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience in networking, solutions architecturetechnical consultingprofessional servicescustomer-facing engineeringor post-sales technical roles supporting enterprise B2B software or infrastructure solutions. 
  • A customer-first perspective with a consultative approach to solution delivery.
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise networking technologies and architectures.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts such as routingswitching, network securitywireless networking, SD-WAN, cloud networking, data center networking, or network automation.
  • Experience in professional services functionsincluding project scoping, SOW creation, and solution implementation.
  • Familiarity with server virtualization technologies.
  • Ability to understand and work with APIsautomation workflows, and technical integrations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skillsincluding the ability to explain technical concepts to both engineering and executive stakeholders. 

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:  

  • Strong understanding of NetDevOps workflows including automation, infrastructure-as-code, python, git, Ansible, and similar tools. 
  • Ability to code in Python, sufficient to develop custom prototype solutions for customers. 
  • Proven wins as a technical post-sales engineer/architect.
  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise environments consisting of multiple vendors, cloud platforms, and network domains.
