Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management ensures reliable, on-time performance and optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Responsibilities

This role is vital to prioritizing and program-managing the qualification process for Memory and Storage commodities. Given current market constraints across Memory, SSD, and HDD, along with increased transitions in commodity roadmaps, centralizing this effort under a single point of contact will help ensure business priorities are maintained and drive improved fungibility across all three commodities. Mitigate continuity of supply risk and develop key escalation channels across supply base. Work with Supply Chain, and Capacity Planning teams on the timing and availability of product transitions to plan for platform end of life (minimizing E&O inventory) and ramp of new platforms. Review priorities between production and spares to create allocation plans for constrained materials.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:


Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR equivalent experience. 


Other Requirements:


Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications:


Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR equivalent experience. Be a business professional with a passion for industry knowledge relevant to market commodities and/or semiconductor segment with 5+ years of experience. Leadership skills and growth mindset to drive cross functional engagement. Ability to partner with internal and external engineering teams to build credibility and trust while driving alignment around common strategy. Demonstrate track record in supplier negotiation and management. Professional degree required, preferably in an engineering discipline; MBA is highly desirable.

Sourcing Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
