This role owns the measurement spine that connects marketing programs, product experiences, and investments to commercial outcomes in support of the Network Product Marketing organization, responsible for T-Mobile's primary product: our network. The team markets both the network itself and a portfolio of productized experiences designed to make network performance tangible, relatable, and meaningful to consumers (e.g. network trial programs, customer-facing coverage and performance tools, among others). This role delivers insights and supports leaders in making strategic and operational decisions through advanced data analysis techniques. It primarily involves generating analysis, reporting, and recommendations using statistics, data science, and business intelligence tools. Its area of specialization is defining the KPI architecture that links perception, behavior, and growth across network marketing programs and product experiences, and building attribution frameworks that help disentangle the impact of multiple, overlapping factors that shape customer perceptions, behaviors, and commercial outcomes. At the program level, this role partners directly with PMMs on the team to build measurement plans, forecasting models, opportunity sizing, business cases, and reporting in support of their product and program strategies and learning agendas, with that work connecting individual program performance back into the larger measurement spine and organizational reporting. This includes performing queries, investigating hypotheses, and generating insights that inform and sharpen PMM strategy and decision-making. Success is measured by the clarity and adoption of the measurement framework and the degree to which evidence-based insights influence product, roadmap, and go-to-market decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights and recommendations that optimize experiences by collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization, including serving as a direct analytical partner to PMMs on the team in support of their product and program strategies, opportunity sizing, and business case modeling 

  • Develop and maintain data and reporting solutions including reports, dashboards, and self-service tools to support enterprise objectives 

  • Apply analytical and modeling techniques to enhance decision-making and prioritize resources across various business options 

  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate complex analytical findings to influence leadership decisions 

  • Ensure alignment of Network Product Marketing measurement, and integration, with enterprise reporting, including Finance. 

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience  Acceptable areas of study include Data analysis, data science, decision science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience  (Required)

  • 7-10 years of Analytics experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches. (Required)

  • 7-10 years of Reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) (Required)

  • 7-10 years of experience in advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research (Required)

  • Experience with Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science language (Preferred)

  • Telecom experience (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Communication : Ability to manage relationships, influence and  communicate complicated analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner at the executive level and provide decision support, analysis and recommendations that help to drive effective execution of initiatives. (Required)

Data Analysis : Exceptional at using wide ranging datasets to deliver broad analysis and insights to maximize value creation and return on investment. (Required)

    Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

    Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
