Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience

A minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in technology or digital development roles.

Other Work Experience

Experience shaping AI-enabled technical approaches, mentoring others on tool usage and judgment, and establishing responsible patterns for AI assistance across multiple projects or teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information.
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to raise quality across people and projects.
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills.

Individual Contributor

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.

Job Overview

The Senior Creative Technologist leads complex or ambiguous work and raises the quality bar for the team. This role defines technical approaches, mentors others, and ensures work is delivered with consistency and judgment.


Senior Creative Technologists lead by default while remaining hands-on.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead complex initiatives or multi-disciplinary workstreams.
  • Define technical approaches and standards across projects.
  • Define AI-assisted workflows and practices for complex projects, ensuring the team uses AI responsibly and effectively.
  • Evaluate new AI tools and capabilities, forming recommendations for when and how the team should adopt them.
  • Model strong AI tool literacy—understanding context windows, prompt engineering, output validation, and knowing when to verify AI-generated work.
  • Coach others on AI tool usage, helping them avoid common pitfalls and develop good judgment.
  • Maintain awareness of AI tool risks (hallucination, bias, security) and establish patterns to mitigate them.
  • Anticipate risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs before they surface.
  • Review work from other Creative Technologists and provide guidance.
  • Mentor Associate and Creative Technologists.
  • Support discovery, pitches, and early client conversations.
