Data Steward

The Analytics family group at F5 is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decisionmaking. Our Data Analysts partner with business leaders, product teams, and customers to define problems, hypotheses, data requirements, and key analysis outcomes. The Analytics group uses predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other 
analysis techniques to collect, explore, identify, and analyze data to improve decision-making. Our analytics teams drive 
innovation, research, assessment, strategic planning, and management decisions.

F5’s data and business intelligence analysts are responsible for analyzing complex business problems and issues by identifying, 
capturing, and using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. They perform statistical 
modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations that reveal 
trends, patterns, and underlying influences. By utilizing advanced data visualization programs, tools, and techniques, they 
generate comprehensive dashboards, reports, and presentations that facilitate data storytelling and enhance the understanding 
and interpretation of business-critical trends and patterns. Analysts also develop and maintain statistical models for ongoing 
and ad-hoc data reviews and analyses. They construct accurate forecasts, offer strategic and tactical recommendations, and 
formulate plans based on a thorough analysis of business data and market intelligence. Additionally, they create detailed 
specifications for reports and analyses that align with business requirements and available data elements, ensuring that their 
outputs are both relevant and impactful.

The annual base pay for this position is: $130,400.00 - $195,600.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
