If you're a designer who leads with curiosity, thrives in a collaborative studio environment, and wants your work to shape how millions of people experience their finances, we want to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Set the creative bar. Inspire the team and clients alike with design that's both visually exceptional and grounded in strategy, data, and user insight.
  • Collaborate across disciplines. Partner with UX designers, interaction designers, strategists, and developers to define creative direction and deliver outstanding digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging platforms.
  • Own the craft. Translate wireframes, functional specifications, and prototypes into high-fidelity design that brings the user experience fully to life — across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Champion innovation. Continuously push the boundaries of what's aesthetically and technologically possible within our clients' industries.
  • Mentor and elevate. Invest in junior creative team members and foster a culture of cross-discipline collaboration and shared craft.
  • Deliver with consistency. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment, and maintain an uncompromising standard of quality from concept through delivery.
  • Be a client partner. Show up with confidence and clarity in client-facing presentations, translating complex design decisions into compelling narratives.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience at a digital agency
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating quality work across digital media — including responsive web, mobile, and app design
  • Expert-level proficiency with Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Deep understanding of interaction design, branding, digital marketing, and the end-to-end creative process
  • Proven experience with mobile-first, responsive design across devices and platforms
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, data visualization — enough to design with development realities in mind
  • A natural ability to absorb feedback, self-direct, and iterate with purpose
  • Bachelor's degree in design or a related field preferred; formal design training highly valued

Bonus points for:

  • Motion design experience
  • Financial services industry background
  • Experience with data visualization and designing for complex information environments

What's in It for You

  • Work that matters — designing digital experiences used by real people managing their real financial lives
  • A collaborative, idea-driven environment where great thinking gets implemented, not shelved
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Fully remote flexibility
  • The chance to shape creative standards at a firm that's genuinely pushing the industry forward

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
